Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986 in Hereford, England) is an English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010 after her hit singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano voice and has a talent of writing songs with emotional inspiring lyrics. Similar to her peers Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront in the world of mainstream and arty independent music. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a big contract. Her debut album was scheduled for release.
