Lis Wiehl is an American journalist and legal analyst who previously worked as a Fox News analyst.
She was an adjunct professor in Law in New York Law School and was previously an Associate Professor at University of Washington Law School. She provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor and National Public Radio. She has a weekly appearance regularly on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs this evening. The Imus Morning Show. The Legal Lis Radio Show and Wiehl of Justice Podcast.
Wiehl is she is a Yakima resident who graduated from West Valley High School. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree from 1983. In 1985 she received her master of Arts Degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl was previously a US Attorney. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She was a tenured professor of laws in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 as well as the director of in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was employed as an analyst for Fox News legal analyst from 2001-2017.
