Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur IL on the 23rd day of July in 1971. She and LeAnn Kymes were two of the earliest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is an American bluegrass and country singer. She began her career in the industry at an early age competing in local contests before when she was 10 years old and recording for the first time at 14. The year 1985 saw her signing by Rounder Records. Her first solo album came out in 1987. In addition, she was invited to the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she continues to perform. In 1989, she released her first solo album her first solo album came out with them.
