Dua Lipa is an English artist and singer. She was born on August 22 1995, in London United Kingdom. The singer-songwriter signed with Warner Bros Records in 2014 following her work as a model. She released her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. The album reached the third spot in the U.K. Chart for Albums. The album released eight singles and included Be the Only I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules (UK number one). It also peaked at the number 6 spot within the United States. Lipa has won Brit Awards for 2018 in category of British Female Artist and British Breakthrough Act and British. In addition, her platinum-certified album is a coveted honor throughout the world. Dua Lipa was born at the age of 18 in London in the UK by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). The maternal grandparents of her are Bosnian. It is also possible to locate her ancestral ancestors from Peja, the Kosovo village of Peja. The two grandparents of Lipa were both historians. Her siblings are Rina Gjin and Gjin. The musical influence of Lipa's came from her father who was the guitarist and singer of the Kosovan Rock band Oda. At the house, her father would perform his original compositions along with songs by David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa was only five when she first began to sing. When she was nine, she began to learn how to sing. Lipa sang Beautiful, by Christina Aguilera And If Ain't Give It To You By Alicia Keys. The year 2014 was the year that Lipa was signed to a contract to Warner Bros. Records. New Love was her debut single. New Love was released in August of 2015.
